This is a very nice small trammel hook forged and fitted in the shop. These are really convenient for cooking over a fire with almost any support system as it allows you to quickly adjust the cooking utensils distance from the fire or coals. When fully closed, it measures 14 1/2 inches from the inside of the top hook to the top of the adjustable hook. It will open to 20 1/2 inches when fully open. The four adjustment holes are two inches apart. The adjustable hook is fitted through the trammel with a downward cant to the free end. This makes it virtually impossible to release in use. We do offer a larger more robust trammel if that is what you need. We also make these in custom lengths and weights if that is what you need. We are happy to help.
